Exploring Asakusa, (pronounced Asaksa)
These pictures are from the river boat cruise we went on down the Sumida River.
They literally call this gold thing a bird turd
This was the first of 13 bridges that we went under during the cruise.
The Senso-ji Shrine in Asakusa. We both picked up our fortunes here and each of them said that a big move and marriage is bad right now! What are we supposed to think of that?
Stopped by a department store to pick up an outlet converter and found some pretty cool stuff...
Refrigerators here have a place for everything, and as you can see multiple drawers....I guess to prevent cross contamination?
After a long day of sightseeing, we went to a Yakitori stand bar. Basically, all that means is that you eat and drink while standing up, so the food comes out super fast!
